Trilantic Europe and CDP Equity have agreed to sell their stakes in Italian agritech firm Diagram to BF International Best Fields Best Food, part of the BF Group. Trilantic Europe will sell its entire 41.6% stake via Triagri, the vehicle holding its investment from Trilantic Europe VI and co-investors. CDP Equity will sell its stake in multiple tranches under put and call options, allowing it to continue supporting Diagram over the coming years.

BF International already owns a 15% stake in Diagram. The company, formed in 2022 from the merger of IBF Servizi and Agronica, provides digital tools using satellite observation, AI, soil mapping, and IoT sensors to support agricultural policy, supply-chain traceability, and farm management. Diagram operates in over 20 countries, monitors more than 50 million hectares, and supports the management of over €20 billion in agricultural subsidies.

It is described as the leading agritech player in Italy. The investors backed Diagram in May 2025 and have since strengthened its senior team, advanced AI adoption, integrated a common ERP system, and pursued M&A and international expansion. Completion of the sale is subject to regulatory clearances and other conditions precedent.

White & Case and Foglia & Partners advised Trilantic Europe; Rothschild, Forvis Mazars, Studio Delfino e Associati, Willkie Farr & Gallagher, and Studio Zoppini Associati advised CDP Equity.
