Headlands Research, a clinical trial site network backed by THL Partners, has acquired Clinical Trials Research, expanding its footprint in the California market. The Lake Worth, Florida-based company will integrate CT R's operations in Sacramento and Lincoln under new branding as Headlands Research – Sacramento and Headlands Research – CT R Lincoln.

Dr. Jeffrey D. Wayne leads Clinical Trials Research, which becomes part of Headlands' growing network of clinical research sites. This acquisition strengthens Headlands' position in the competitive clinical trials market, adding geographic diversity to its existing operations.
