Searchlight Capital Partners and Abry Partners have finalized their take-private acquisition of Kore Group Holdings, an Internet of Things connectivity, solutions, and analytics provider based in Atlanta. Ron Totton holds the position of president and CEO at Kore.

This transaction, previously reported to be valued at $726 million, marks a significant shift for Kore, which was established in 2003. The deal signifies the growing investor confidence in the IoT sector and the strategic value of companies like Kore that offer comprehensive solutions.

Searchlight Capital Partners, a global private equity firm, and Abry Partners, a prominent private equity firm specializing in technology, media, and telecommunications, bring their combined expertise and resources to Kore. This acquisition is expected to accelerate Kore's growth trajectory and enhance its capabilities in the rapidly evolving IoT landscape.

The take-private move will allow Kore to operate with greater strategic flexibility and focus on long-term value creation, away from the pressures of public markets. The partnership with Searchlight and Abry is anticipated to fuel innovation and expansion for Kore's services.
