Rockbridge Growth Equity has agreed to sell Checked Up to Providence Equity Partners for undisclosed terms, with Varsity Healthcare Partners joining as a strategic minority investor. The management team will remain in place.

The platform now serves more than 17,000 specialty healthcare providers and partners with most of the top 40 pharmaceutical manufacturers. Founded in 2012, Checked Up delivers point‑of‑care education and brand content through waiting‑room televisions and interactive exam‑room wallboards.

In October 2022, Rockbridge backed Checked Up’s acquisition of Health Media Network, creating a unified digital ecosystem across specialty health categories. Managing partner Brian Hermelin said the deal "scales Checked Up into a differentiated specialty point‑of‑care network," and that Providence and Varsity are ideal partners for the next chapter.

The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026. Moelis & Company advised Checked Up, while Greenberg Traurig and Honigman served as legal counsel. Providence and Varsity received counsel from Debevoise & Plimpton and Mintz Levin.
