Morning Hubsters, Happy Fri‑yay! I’m John R Fischer, coming to you from the New York newsroom with the US Wire. I’ve spent six and a half years reporting on radiology, so I’m especially excited about this week’s Friday Focus on a radiopharmaceuticals deal inked by Nordic Capital.

Tech is driving a boom in clinical workforce services. AI, cloud, and data analytics help hospitals recruit, retain, and manage staff, and private‑equity firms like Accel‑KKR, Bain, and Knox Lane are investing heavily. In July, Knox Lane acquired Cross Country Healthcare, a tech‑enabled workforce platform that serves hospitals, outpatient facilities, and schools. The deal highlights how PE sees scalable, tech‑driven solutions as the future of healthcare staffing.

In the radiopharma space, Nordic Capital agreed to take BWXT Medical private in a deal worth $800m, including BWXT’s medical isotopes business and Kinectrics. The transaction, expected to close end‑2026, will allow Nordic to scale diagnostic imaging and radiotherapeutic products while retaining a minority stake.

That’s the roundup for this Friday—stay tuned for more deals and insights in the next Wire.
