Private equity-backed Net at Work has acquired Kansas-based managed services provider Network Computer Solutions. The deal, backed by Lovell Minnick Partners, expands the New York City firm's reach into the Midwestern United States. Founded in 1996, NCS brings a long-established client base to the table.

The acquisition also includes Nterfuse, a specialized software platform that NCS used to manage its clients. This move allows Net at Work to integrate new tools and deepen its service offerings. For Lovell Minnick, this represents a classic roll-up strategy in the fragmented IT services market, consolidating smaller players under one umbrella to drive scale.

This transaction continues a busy period for MSPs seeking growth through acquisition. By absorbing NCS, Net at Work gains immediate market share and operational expertise in a new region. The deal's value was not disclosed.

Customers can expect a gradual integration process as the two companies combine systems and teams.
