On Tuesday, Lone Star finished its purchase of DOMO Engineered Materials, a division of the DOMO Group that specialises in polyamide‑based engineered materials. The deal follows its earlier acquisition of RadiciGroup, a producer of chemical intermediates and polyamide polymers. By bringing the two businesses together, the company aims to strengthen its position in the high‑performance plastics market in global markets.

DOMO Engineered Materials has built a niche in advanced composites used in automotive, aerospace and sporting goods. RadiciGroup supplies the raw polymers that feed into those composites. Integrating the supply chain could cut lead times and reduce costs for customers seeking lighter, stronger parts. The combined entity will also broaden its geographic reach across Europe and North America.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, but analysts expect the acquisition to generate synergies of several million euros annually. Investors will watch how well the merged operations integrate and whether the expanded product portfolio translates into higher margins. It also expands its customer base. For now, the deal positions Lone Star as a more competitive player in the specialty chemical sector.
