KKR has appointed Lauren Goodwin as managing director and chief investment strategist for its global wealth solutions business. The move signals KKR's expansion into the wealth management sector as the private equity giant seeks to leverage its market insights for financial advisors across various platforms.

Goodwin brings extensive experience from her previous role as chief market strategist at New York Life Investments. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, giving her a broad perspective on financial markets and client needs.

In her new role, Goodwin will develop practical tools for financial advisors and adapt KKR's market insights for wirehouses, RIAs, private banks, and independent broker-dealers. This appointment reflects KKR's strategic push to diversify its revenue streams beyond traditional private equity investments.
