Private equity firm Inflexion has agreed to acquire Marioff, a leading provider of high-pressure water mist fire suppression systems. Marioff's technology protects critical infrastructure including data centers, naval vessels, cruise ships, and industrial facilities across more than 70 countries. The Finnish company, headquartered in Vantaa, generated revenues of $266 million in its latest financial year.

The acquisition highlights growing demand for advanced fire protection solutions in high-value facilities. Marioff's water mist technology offers advantages over traditional sprinkler systems by using less water while providing effective suppression. This makes it particularly valuable for protecting sensitive equipment in data centers and valuable assets on cruise ships and naval vessels.

While financial terms weren't disclosed, the deal represents Inflexion's latest move in the industrial technology sector. The London-based private equity firm has been actively building its portfolio of specialized industrial companies, and Marioff's global footprint and proven technology make it an attractive addition. The acquisition positions Inflexion to capitalize on increasing safety regulations and the growing need for fire protection in critical infrastructure worldwide.
