IK Partners, a global private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Domek Group, a Dutch financial services intermediary. The deal, funded by IK’s Development Capital pool, involves purchasing shares from Capital A, with Domek’s founders and management team reinvesting in the business. Domek, headquartered in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, specializes in multilingual financial services, including property advisory, insurance brokerage, and lending, serving over 40,000 clients across 12 languages. The firm has expanded operations into Belgium and Germany in recent years.

Founded in 2011, Domek’s platform caters to non-native communities, offering tailored solutions in property, casualty insurance, life insurance, and leasing. With approximately 100 employees, the company plans to deepen its linguistic reach and launch new service lines under IK’s ownership. IK aims to leverage Domek’s regional expertise to scale its footprint in Western Europe, emphasizing cross-border growth opportunities and strategic acquisitions.

The acquisition aligns with IK’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe’s financial services sector. By integrating Domek’s localized offerings, IK anticipates enhanced value for investors and expanded market access. Domek’s focus on underserved communities and its multilingual capabilities position it as a key player in the region’s evolving financial landscape.

This move underscores IK’s commitment to backing firms with scalable models and niche expertise. Domek’s growth trajectory and IK’s capital infusion signal confidence in the demand for specialized financial intermediation services across Europe.
