Guidant Power, backed by Shore Capital, has acquired Dyna Scan Technical Services, a Cincinnati-based infrared inspection firm specializing in electrical thermography for healthcare facilities and hospital systems, for undisclosed terms. The deal expands Guidant Power's commercial and industrial infrared thermography capabilities into deeper healthcare specialization.

Dyna Scan, founded in 2004, focuses on identifying electrical risks that could threaten patient care or facility uptime. The acquisition builds on a longstanding partnership between Dyna Scan and Mitchell & Lindsey, which Guidant Power acquired in November 2025.

Guidant Power currently serves hundreds of hospitals annually with arc flash, ATS, and LIM testing services in support of NFPA 70E, 99, and 110 compliance standards. With Dyna Scan added to the platform, the company now offers specialized healthcare infrared depth alongside its existing service lines. Guidant Power is headquartered in Chicago.
