ECI Partners-backed CSL Group has acquired SIMPL Wireless, an IoT eSIM connectivity provider headquartered in Duluth, Georgia, for undisclosed terms. The deal gives CSL a US base, carrier relationships and a local team to serve North American customers. SIMPL provides eSIM-as-a-service through its Ever SIM multi-carrier eSIM and its Compass platform. Customers can activate connectivity within hours using their existing hardware and carrier contracts, and can add or switch carrier profiles over the air. Compass gives them one dashboard and one API to activate, monitor and manage SIMPL SIMs alongside third-party carrier SIMs across more than 100 mobile network operators, with real-time network visibility and automated self-healing. SIMPL is built on GSMA SAS-certified Thales infrastructure, and its partners include T-Mobile and Thales. CSL, founded in 1996, provides managed IoT connectivity and patented rSIM multi-network resilience across more than three million connections in building security, healthcare, infrastructure, utilities and transport. SIMPL is CSL’s second acquisition of 2026, following its purchase of IoTM Solutions in July. Together with CSL’s rSIM technology and IoTM’s connectivity orchestration, SIMPL will let customers use any network, manage every SIM and eSIM, and stay online when a network fails.

As resilience in connectivity becomes front of mind for enterprises, this acquisition represents an important milestone in the growth trajectory of the combined businesses,” said Daniel Bailey, partner at ECI Partners. The SIMPL team will join CSL, and the business will keep serving its existing customers, carriers and partners as SIMPL Wireless, a CSL Group company. ECI is a mid-market private equity firm that has completed more than 250 deals over 50 years.
