Centre Partners and Altivare Capital Partners have completed the acquisition of Navajo Expedited, a technology-enabled freight logistics provider headquartered in Lakeland, Florida. Founded in 2018, Navajo Expedited connects commercial shippers with truckload capacity across the US through a network of more than 8,000 vetted drivers, serving blue-chip customers in the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, and industrial sectors with dry van and temperature-controlled transportation.

Expedited’s proprietary technology platform streamlines pricing, carrier onboarding, compliance, dispatch, and equipment tracking across the load lifecycle. The company leverages agentic AI technology to improve driver vetting and load execution, positioning it as a differentiated player in the freight logistics space.

The deal was partially funded through Centre Strategic Solutions I, a new investment vehicle raised by Centre Partners to support independent sponsor transactions in the North American lower-middle market. Centre Partners, founded in 1986, is a middle-market private equity firm with approximately $2.8 billion of equity capital invested in over 90 transactions.

Altivare Capital Partners, founded in 2024 and based in New York, is a lower-middle-market private equity firm. The partnership aims to support Navajo Expedited’s next phase of growth by deepening customer relationships, expanding its service offerings, and pursuing complementary acquisitions. Bruce Pollack, managing partner at Centre Partners, expressed excitement about partnering with the Expedited team to accelerate the company’s growth trajectory.
