Capitol Meridian has acquired Westway Enterprises, a national security infrastructure firm. The deal aims to accelerate Westway's expansion of accredited capacity and improve access to classified work for commercial innovators and non-traditional defense contractors.

Westway operates five accredited facilities, with four currently active in the National Capital Region and a fifth scheduled to open in Huntsville, Alabama, in early 2027. The company supports a diverse client base, including intelligence agencies, the Department of War, defense primes, small businesses, and academic institutions.

This acquisition positions Capitol Meridian to capitalize on the growing demand for secure infrastructure in the national security sector. The expansion of accredited capacity is particularly significant for enabling companies without prior government clearance to participate in classified projects, potentially opening new revenue streams and fostering innovation within the defense industrial base.
