Blume Equity has stepped into the Irish tech scene by leading a consortium that will inject up to €49 million into CameraMatics, a firm that turns vehicle cameras into AI‑driven safety dashboards. The move signals confidence in the company’s growing customer base and its expanding footprint across Europe and the US.

CameraMatics already boasts a roster that includes Royal Mail, Calor Gas, XPO and DFDS, and it projects more than €30 million in recurring revenue by 2026. Existing backers such as Puma Growth Partners, Sure Valley Ventures and Enterprise Ireland keep stakes, while the new capital will accelerate product development and market penetration.

The investment partners—Blume Equity, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Goodbody Capital Partners, which runs AIB’s private equity arm—will help CameraMatics scale its AI platform, add new features, and deepen its presence in the US, where demand for video‑based fleet monitoring is surging.

With the infusion, CameraMatics can pursue aggressive expansion, secure larger contracts, and solidify its position as a leading provider of AI‑enhanced fleet safety solutions. The deal underscores the growing investor appetite for technology that blends data analytics with real‑time vehicle insights.
