Cogency Global, a New York-based provider of corporate compliance and transactional legal support services, has acquired Elemental CoSec, a London-based specialist in company secretarial, governance, and tax advisory services. This deal, backed by Bertram Capital, significantly expands Cogency's UK platform and service depth. Elemental CoSec will continue operating under its own name as part of Cogency Global, offering services like company secretarial, corporate governance, UK incorporation, identity verification, directorships, tax, and accountancy across the company lifecycle. The acquisition aligns with Cogency's strategy to build an international presence, as stated by partner Jared Ruger.

This move positions Cogency to better serve clients across the UK and internationally, leveraging Elemental's established UK expertise.
