Banyan Capital Partners has promoted Simon Gélinas to managing director and head of investments. In his new capacity, Gélinas will oversee the day-to-day operations of Banyan’s investment function. This includes managing the investment pipeline, leading investment selection and execution, and overseeing asset management for the firm’s entire portfolio.

Gélinas joined Banyan in 2015. Prior to his tenure at Banyan, he held significant leadership positions at TRU Simulation & Training and its predecessor, Mechtronix Inc. He also served as a vice-president at Richardson Capital Limited, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role.

His promotion signifies a deepening of his responsibilities within Banyan, where he will now direct key aspects of the firm's investment strategy and execution. This move underscores Banyan's commitment to strengthening its investment leadership.
