Bain Capital and Tillman Global Holdings are investing $1.5 billion in Eaton Fiber to accelerate Verizon's fiber broadband expansion. This investment, led by Bain Capital's Special Situations team, fully funds Ripple Fiber's acquisition and Eaton Fiber's next expansion phase, building on a commercial agreement with Verizon.

Separately, THL Partners sold AMI, a firmware provider, to Lattice Semiconductor, retaining an equity stake. THL focused on strengthening AMI's capabilities and positioning it for AI and compute infrastructure growth, leveraging AI as a value creation lever through product enhancement and efficiency improvements.

In the restaurant sector, Golub Capital invested in Church’s Texas Chicken to fuel its growth. This follows recent private equity activity in restaurants, including acquisitions of Cotton Patch Café and Pizza Hut (excluding China).
