Amberjack Capital Partners has closed the acquisition of PMV Automation from Flowserve for approximately $35 million. The deal, announced on May 7, includes PMV's facilities in Houston, Texas and Solna, Sweden. PMV provides control valve positioners, limit switches, and automation products for markets including water, wastewater, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemicals, and refining.

Houston-based Amberjack made the investment in partnership with industry executives Joseph Jobe and Micah Floyd, who will lead the company post-closing. Piper Sandler acted as financial adviser to Amberjack, with Sidley Austin as legal adviser.

The carve-out allows PMV to operate as a standalone entity under private equity ownership, enabling focused growth and strategic initiatives. This transaction reflects Amberjack's strategy of acquiring specialized industrial automation businesses with strong market positions.
