Infrastructure leadership and fundraising

Hans-Martin Aerts departed APG after 25 years with the €639bn Dutch pension asset manager, following the exit of its global infrastructure head a month earlier. ECP closed its largest fund, ECP VI, on $8.1bn, more than 50% above target in just 18 months, according to chief investment officer Tyler Reeder. Industriens Pension's head of infrastructure, Mikkel Kjaersgaard, says it is "business as usual" for the €37bn Danish fund despite geopolitical turbulence, including its approach to co-investments and secondaries.

New vehicles and consolidation

Agallas Equities is planning a $5bn Caribbean-focused inaugural infrastructure fund targeting major projects in the Dominican Republic and surrounding area, with early interest from Gulf state family offices. Aware Super and Prime Super are in merger talks, with Prime's approximately A$8bn AUM pushing Aware past A$250bn in total assets. Transport packaging assets are "anything but the full package" for purists, but it is ultimately for LPs to decide whether to accept delivery.

Healthcare private equity

Altaris has announced it will acquire Clarivate's Life Sciences & Healthcare business.
