Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds See Mixed Fortunes

Real estate fundraising in the first half of 2026, with aggregate capital raised remaining subdued. Despite the overall muted environment, approximately 70% of funds that successfully closed during the period met or surpassed their target fundraising goals. In the infrastructure space, UK insurer M&G remains bullish on US assets and is actively seeking more secondary market opportunities to diversify its £4bn portfolio, according to Anish Majmudar, head of infrastructure.
