Bain Capital is set to acquire Gong cha, a popular tea beverage chain, from TA Associates. Gong cha offers a variety of drinks, including milk tea, fruit tea, and other cold beverages. Separately, KKR-backed FGS has acquired Rich Feuer Anderson, a government affairs firm. This acquisition represents FGS's second purchase of a bipartisan government affairs consultancy, following its acquisition of Tarplin, Downs & Young in September 2025. $250 million in funding to bolster its position in the robotaxi industry. The company is expanding its operations in autonomous vehicle fleet management. Moove aims to eventually own Waymo robotaxis rather than solely manage them. In a different venture, Lightspeed partners discussed their social media strategies, including their use of Instagram direct messages for recruitment. They also talked about their podcast, Lightwork, on the Equity studio.
