Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. announced the Dragonwing Q-2390 and IQ-2390 processors at IFA, expanding the Dragonwing portfolio with integrated platforms for consumer IoT and industrial edge computing. The Q-2390 targets commercial and consumer devices like smart appliances, retail kiosks, and home robots, integrating AI, vision, LTE Cat 4, and GPS within tight power and size constraints. The IQ-2390, the first in the new IQ2 Series, brings intelligence to the far industrial edge, supporting automation, oil & gas, utilities, and energy applications.

Built for rugged environments, it operates across an extended temperature range of -30°C to +115°C and withstands vibration and shock. Both processors feature a quad-core Qualcomm Kryo CPU, Adreno 704 GPU, and a real-time RISC-V MCU. These platforms aim to simplify AI-enabled system deployment while reducing bill of materials, board space, and integration complexity for OEMs and developers across homes, businesses, cities, and factories.
