Frederic Vasseur admits Ferrari are not working in 'perfect serenity' amid persistent speculation about his future. The team principal, who joined Ferrari from Sauber in 2023, oversees their return to race-winning ways this year after a poor 2023 but their world championship challenge to Mercedes has faded in recent months. Vasseur conceded the external noise is frustrating after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where his drivers finished fourth and sixth.

He stated, 'We are not working in perfect serenity.' Referencing his former Red Bull counterpart, Vasseur added: 'Mr Horner is looking for a job. Everybody knows, everywhere.' Vasseur signed a multi-year contract extension last year and insisted there was no doubt about his commitment to the role as he bids to lead F1's most-famous team back to world title-winning ways. Lewis Hamilton credited Vasseur's presence, having worked with him in junior series, as a central reason for joining Ferrari from Mercedes in 2025.
