Apollo funds have completed their acquisition of Nippon Sheet Glass, a leading global manufacturer of architectural, automotive, and solar glass. The transaction was carried out alongside key financial institutions and is expected to strengthen NSG Group’s financial foundation while accelerating investment in its workforce and technology. NSG Group has also launched a new management structure to support its strategic growth.

The company will leverage Apollo’s prior investment experience in the glass, automotive, and manufacturing sectors. “The combination of Apollo’s experience and the talent and craftsmanship of NSG Group’s people positions the company to build a strong platform for growth and innovation,” said Tetsuji Okamoto, lead partner, Asia Pacific private equity at Apollo.
