The Sound Elite Gen 2's personal AI will assist users daily with requests and tasks given, while keeping its power consumption low and your audio experience strong.

Qualcomm states that it combined on-device AI, cloud-connected capabilities, and "industry-leading" audio tech for this new chip. The chip's apt X Lossless support delivers "bit-for-bit" music streaming, meaning you won't miss a beat and every sound is delivered with clarity. Qualcomm is reportedly confident that this higher-quality sound will remain consistent over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The company states the Snapdragon Sound Elite Gen 2 features "up to 40% lower power consumption" compared to previous generations. Qualcomm sees the chip headed to "intelligent hearables," including premium AI earbuds, open-ear devices, audio glasses, camera buds, hearing and wellness devices, and AI wearables. Much of the Sound Elite Gen 2's AI assistance is enhanced by its Wi-Fi 6E support, offering direct-to-cloud connectivity for "always-on personal AI."
