Apple introduced the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro, and its first foldable iPhone Duo at its annual fall event on Sept. 9, 2026, with new CEO John Ternus leading the presentation after succeeding Tim Cook. The iPhone 18 starts at $1,199, the iPhone 18 Pro at $1,199, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299, while the foldable iPhone Duo starts at $1,999. All models feature the new A20 chip, longer battery life, improved cameras with cinematic effects, and four colors: black, silver, glacier blue, and burgundy.

Ternus emphasized that Apple Intelligence runs on-device when possible, with private cloud compute handling heavier tasks to preserve user privacy. The iPhone 18 goes on sale Sept. 12; the iPhone Duo is available for pre-order Oct. 16 and ships Oct. 23. Apple also announced AirPods 5 at $129 and a new Apple Watch starting at $399, both going on sale Sept. 18.
