Wales have suffered a triple blow ahead of their Nations League A campaign, with Harry Wilson, Nathan Broadhead and Karl Darlow withdrawn from Craig Bellamy's squad. Wilson, Leeds United’s attacking midfielder, was sidelined by a quad issue; Broadhead, Wrexham’s forward, missed out due to a thigh problem; and first‑choice goalkeeper Darlow pulled out despite a recent Manchester United debut. Cornell, 35, joined Leicester City on a one‑year deal after being a free agent; he has over 200 senior club appearances. Taylor, 23, has scored five goals for Huddersfield this season after impressing on loan at Wigan. Savage, 23, has more than 150 appearances for Reading and earned his first cap in a 2023 friendly against Gibraltar.
