Roku has partnered with Apple to add the Apple TV subscription service directly to the Roku Channel, giving Roku users seamless access to Apple's streaming platform. The Roku Channel, available across all Roku devices, combines free content with premium subscriptions.

This collaboration could boost Apple's subscriber numbers while expanding Roku's content library with popular offerings like Formula 1, Major League Soccer, and Major League Baseball. The service maintains its standard pricing at $12.99 per month or $99 per year, with a 7-day free trial available.

Unlike the standalone Apple TV app that's been on Roku since 2019, the Roku Channel integration recommends Apple TV content alongside other programming and streamlines the subscription process through users' Roku accounts. The service works across multiple devices including smart TVs, streaming players from Amazon, Google, and Roku, web browsers, and iOS and Android devices.
