Over 16 years, MacRumors blood drives have recorded 1,795 units of life-saving donations. This year's featured donor, user m53rd, exemplifies extraordinary generosity by donating a kidney and 60% of his liver to people in need, demonstrating how a single person can save many lives through multiple donation methods.

Participants can schedule donations at local centers and share their contributions in the MacRumors forum thread, where all registrants are added to the Honor Roll. Those ineligible to donate can still participate by encouraging friends or family to give. The initiative continues tracking donations through April 2027 on the Team MacRumors page, ensuring all contributions count toward the 2027 totals.
