Apple is reportedly planning to release the iPhone Air 2 in the first quarter of 2027, according to investment analyst Jeff Pu.

The upcoming model is expected to feature five key upgrades: a second 48-megapixel rear camera (Ultra Wide), a smaller Dynamic Island, a faster A20 Pro chip built on TSMC's 2nm process, Apple's second-generation N2 wireless networking chip, and a second-generation C2 chip for 5G.

The iPhone Air 2 is anticipated to retain a 6.5-inch display, 12GB of RAM, and an 18-megapixel front camera. It is expected to launch alongside the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e around March 2027, with other iPhone 18 models launching in September.
