Apple has released iOS 26.3 with several new features, though it's a lighter update compared to previous versions. The most notable addition is a new Transfer to Android tool that simplifies switching from iPhone to Android by allowing users to move photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, and phone numbers through a simple device-to-device connection.

iOS 26.3 also introduces a dedicated Weather wallpaper section in Lock Screen customization, splitting it from the previous combined Weather and Astronomy category. Users now have three pre-designed Weather wallpapers with different fonts and weather widgets. Additionally, the update includes a Limit Precise Location setting for compatible devices with C1 and C1X modems, restricting carrier access to approximate rather than exact location data. This feature is currently supported by Boost Mobile in the US and several carriers internationally.

The update addresses dozens of security vulnerabilities, including one actively exploited bug in the dyld dynamic link editor that could allow arbitrary code execution. Apple recommends immediate installation on all compatible devices. While iOS 26.3 includes some EU-specific features like Notification Forwarding and Proximity Pairing for third-party wearables, these were delayed from the initial release. The update is available for all iPhones from the iPhone 11 onward.
