New models of the Apple TV and HomePod mini are reportedly "nearly ready to launch" this fall, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Both devices are expected to feature faster processors to support Siri AI. Rumors suggest the next Apple TV will include the A17 Pro chip and an N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7, while the HomePod mini may use an S9 chip or newer, also with an N1 chip and improved Ultra Wideband.

While major design changes are not anticipated, an updated Siri Remote might accompany the new Apple TV. These updates follow a long wait since the current models were released in October 2022 and October 2020, respectively. The launch appears linked to the rollout of Siri AI, expected in September with iOS 17 and other OS updates. Both devices recently saw price increases in the U.S.
