Apple has released the fourth beta of tvOS 27 to developers for testing, two weeks after the third beta. Developers can download and install it via the Settings app on their Apple TV, requiring a free developer account.

tvOS 27 introduces a redesigned Podcasts app, larger text options, and a more responsive Control Center. AirPlay performance from other Apple devices is improved, with smoother app and animation performance. Additionally, AppleCare coverage details can now be viewed within the Settings app.

This update follows previous betas for tvOS 27 and other Apple operating systems like watchOS and visionOS. Notably, iOS 27 is expected to allow users to update their Apple TV software directly from their iPhone, simplifying the update process.
