Apple released the second public betas for iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 on Tuesday, arriving four weeks after the initial test versions reached users. The updates also include new tvOS and watchOS builds. Public beta participants can download the software immediately by visiting the Software Update section in Settings, provided they’ve enrolled their device on Apple’s beta website.

This release introduces a streamlined data migration tool for users switching from an iPhone to an Android device. The process now works directly within the device setup flow, removing the need to install a separate application to transfer contacts, messages, and photos. Additionally, the update implements adjustments for third-party wearable support in the European Union, aligning with regional compliance requirements.

Apple is targeting a public launch for iOS 26.3 by the end of January. The update is expected to support iPhone 11 models and newer, continuing Apple's pattern of maintaining broad device compatibility for its annual software cycles.
