Apple has released the second beta versions of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 to developers, four weeks after seeding the initial betas. The update introduces a new tool allowing users to transfer data directly from iPhone to Android during setup, without needing a separate app. Supported data includes photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, and phone numbers.

Developers can download the builds through the Settings app or Apple’s Developer site. The release also brings Notification Forwarding for third-party wearables in the European Union and minor tweaks to the Weather wallpaper. A feature called Liquid Glass appears to have been removed entirely in this beta.

Apple typically releases major iOS updates in late January, suggesting a public rollout for iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 by month’s end. Compatible devices start with the iPhone 11 series. While bug fixes are expected in final releases, users continue to request improvements to persistent issues like CarPlay connectivity and malfunctioning shortcuts.
