Apple has released visionOS 26.6, the sixth update to the visionOS 26 operating system. This latest version follows visionOS 26.5, released over two months ago.

Users can download visionOS 26.6 on their Vision Pro headsets by accessing the Settings app, navigating to General, and selecting Software Update. The headset must be removed for installation, with a progress bar displayed on the EyeSight screen.

According to Apple's release notes, visionOS 26.6 includes essential bug fixes and security enhancements. It also optimizes the Spotlight index in preparation for the upcoming visionOS 27 launch. Apple recommends this update for all Vision Pro users.
