Apple released the sixth beta of macOS Golden Gate to developers, following the fifth beta by one week. Developers can download it via System Settings > General > Software Update, requiring enabled Beta Updates and a free developer account.

The update introduces design improvements including enhanced Liquid Glass opacity for better readability, a transparency slider, improved window shadowing, uniform app toolbars, edge-to-edge sidebars, and fewer menu bar icons.

Siri has been redesigned as Siri AI, a chatbot-style assistant accessible through Spotlight with the new Search or Ask interface. A dedicated Siri app allows conversation history viewing, custom voice selection on newer Macs, Visual Intelligence for screen-based questions, and a Write with Siri feature for text generation and feedback.

Additional AI features include photo editing tools in Photos, AI tab organization in Safari, automatic weak password updates in Passwords, and a revamped Image Playground app for photorealistic image generation.
