Apple released iOS 26.6.1, iPadOS 26.6.1, and macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 today, fixing almost 30 security vulnerabilities as listed in its security support document. This marks Apple’s third security release in three weeks, reflecting the accelerated pace of AI‑driven bug discovery. The updates incorporate fixes previously added to the iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate betas.

Notable corrections include an audio flaw that could leak user data, an image vulnerability allowing arbitrary code execution, three kernel issues, and multiple WebKit bugs that could cause memory corruption or Safari crashes. Of the 29 CVEs, 21 are WebKit‑related and nine are credited to OpenAI Codex Security. iOS also addresses a telephony bug that could let an attacker bypass IPSec authentication and intercept traffic. None of the flaws are known to be actively exploited, but Apple urges users to update promptly to avoid post‑disclosure targeting.

For older devices unable to run iOS 26, Apple also shipped iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10, while macOS Sequoia and Sonoma received no updates. Users can install the patches via Settings > General > Software Update.
