Apple pulls Vision Pro Travel Case from most global stores

Apple has removed the $199 Vision Pro Travel Case from international Apple Store websites. The accessory no longer appears on storefronts in the UK, Japan, Germany, France, Ireland and Hong Kong, and product pages have been deleted. Listings in China and Australia remain visible but are greyed out, while the case is still sold in the U.S., Canada and the UAE.

The move arrives as Apple scales back its mixed‑reality ambitions. The October 2025 M5 refresh failed to spark consumer demand, leaving the headset priced at $3,499 and total sales hovering around 600,000 units. Following the lukewarm response, the Vision Pro team was dismantled and its leader shifted to Siri, while plans for a cheaper “Vision Air” were shelved. The headset’s high price continues to deter mass adoption.

International buyers can still purchase the Belkin Travel Bag as a substitute, but Apple has offered no comment on the case’s status. Analysts view the quiet withdrawal as another indicator that the company is redirecting resources toward upcoming smart‑glasses projects slated for 2027 and beyond, leaving the Vision Pro accessory line effectively wound down.
