Apple has invited select creators to an "Apple Experience" event in Los Angeles from January 27 to 29. The timing has fueled speculation that new MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips will be announced. Creator Petr Mara shared his invite on Instagram, noting he was also at the iPhone 17 Pro event last September.

The event coincides with the launch of Apple's Creator Studio bundle on January 28, which includes professional apps like Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. This creative focus strongly suggests the company will use the gathering to unveil new high-end Macs. Apple also has its quarterly earnings call scheduled for January 29, a common timing for product releases.

Apple updated the base 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 chip and PCIe 5.0 storage last October. The higher-end Pro and Max models are now due for an upgrade, making this event a logical venue for that announcement. The move would target professional users who rely on Apple's silicon for intensive creative workflows.
