Apple has confirmed that its revamped Siri with Apple Intelligence capabilities will still launch in 2026, despite recent reports suggesting potential delays. The company made the statement to CNBC following a five percent stock drop and rumors of development issues with the updated virtual assistant.

Apple originally planned to debut the enhanced Siri in spring 2025 but postponed the launch to 2026 after internal testing revealed performance problems. The company previewed three key features in June 2024: onscreen awareness, personal context, and improved app integration. Additional capabilities like image generation and web search tools are also in development.

While Bloomberg reported that Siri might not make the planned iOS 26.4 release window, Apple maintains the broader 2026 timeline. The company has until December 2026 to deliver on its promise, and the features could roll out across multiple iOS updates throughout the year. Apple is expected to release the first iOS 26.4 beta later this month, which may provide more clarity on the Siri launch schedule.
