Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro, a successor to last year's Pad 8 Pro. Leaked information suggests the new tablet will feature Xiaomi's self-developed Xring O3 SoC and come equipped with 16GB of RAM. The device is expected to boast a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. Powering the Pad 8S Pro will be a substantial 12,000 mAh battery, and it will ship with HyperOS 4, likely based on Android 17.

Given the leaked specs are in Chinese, it's anticipated that the tablet will initially launch in China. Past precedent with the Xring O1 SoC, the predecessor to the Xring O3, indicates that global availability may be limited. The Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro could be unveiled in the coming weeks, potentially alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, which is also rumored to utilize the Xring O3 chipset.
