Xiaomi shifted its flagship tablet’s price in India after the March launch. The 8GB/128GB model now costs INR35,999, up from INR33,999. The 12GB/256GB variant rises to INR38,999 from INR36,999. Even the Nano Texture edition, with 12GB RAM, sees a hike to INR40,999.

The price changes affect both standard and pen‑bundled units. Models paired with the Focus Pen Pro, still sporting 12GB/256GB, now carry INR43,999 and INR45,999 respectively. Consumers who opted for the higher‑end texture display face a modest increase, reflecting supply‑side adjustments for customers seeking premium builds.

Under the hood, the Pad 8 keeps its Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and boots Android 16‑based HyperOS 3. The 11.2‑inch 144Hz panel delivers 3,200×2,136 pixels, while a 9,200 mAh battery powers 45W wired and 22.5W reverse charging. Cameras stay modest at 13MP rear and 8MP front.

These adjustments come as Xiaomi tightens margins in a price‑sensitive market, while still offering a competitive feature set. For buyers eyeing the tablet, the new prices mean a higher entry point but unchanged performance, making the Pad 8 a solid choice for users who need both productivity and media playback.
