Xiaomi has launched its flagship Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphones in India, bringing the premium devices to the country after their global debut last month. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced at INR 1,39,999 ($1,525) for the 16GB/512GB variant, while the compact Xiaomi 17 starts at INR 89,999 ($980) for the 12GB/256GB model.

Both devices feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and Leica-branded camera systems. The Ultra model boasts a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a massive 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its camera setup includes a 50MP 1-inch primary sensor, 200MP periscope telephoto with continuous optical zoom, and 50MP ultrawide unit. The standard Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch display with up to 3,500 nits brightness and a 6,330mAh battery with 100W wired charging.

Early bird offers run from March 13 to March 17, with Ultra buyers receiving a Xiaomi Professional Photography Kit at no extra cost. The Ultra comes in Black and White color options and carries IP66/IP65 ratings, while the standard model has an IP68 rating. Sales begin March 18 through Amazon and Xiaomi's official store.
