vivo has confirmed that the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will be powered by a 2nm MediaTek Dimensity chipset built on TSMC’s second-generation 2nm N2P process. The chipset features an all-new GPU architecture and an "ultra-high-performance NPU". While the exact model remains undisclosed, leaks suggest it could be the upcoming Dimensity 9600 Pro.

The Pro models will also include a new imaging chip enabling 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording, 60fps video autofocus tracking, 4K Dolby Portrait video, one-tap AI video highlight generation, and hardware-level video super-resolution. This follows vivo’s earlier confirmation of key camera features on the X500 Pro Max. The company continues to roll out details ahead of the series’ expected launch.
