vivo has unveiled the compatibility list for its new G2 and G2 Ultra teleconverters alongside the X300 Ultra and X300s smartphones in China. The G2 200mm lens costs CNY 999 ($145) and works with the X300 Ultra, X300s, X300 Pro, X300, and X200 Ultra. The G2 Ultra 400mm model is priced at CNY 1,999 ($290) and is currently exclusive to the X300 Ultra.

The older 2.35x teleconverter from the X200 Ultra generation also maintains compatibility with the new X300 series devices. vivo confirmed plans to extend G2 Ultra support to the X300 Pro and X200 Ultra in the future. The company showcased both teleconverters at MWC, demonstrating their integration with the X300 Ultra.

This compatibility strategy allows vivo to leverage its existing telephoto lens ecosystem across multiple flagship models. The tiered pricing structure gives users options based on their zoom requirements, with the G2 Ultra offering maximum reach for specialized photography needs.
