vivo is going all-in on mobile photography and videography with the X300 Ultra, bringing a comprehensive photography kit and professional video rig to the global market. The standout feature is a new 400mm telephoto extender developed with Zeiss, paired with a more compact 200mm lens that offers better balance when mounted on the phone. These lenses use the same mount as previous models, ensuring compatibility across the lineup.

The Professional Photographer Kit includes the new lenses, a redesigned camera grip with additional controls including a dedicated flash button, and a case designed to handle the weight of the larger 400mm lens. The grip features a video record button, scroll wheel, zoom lever, and shutter button for enhanced shooting control. The 400mm lens, while significantly wider than its predecessor, is only slightly longer, though it does create a front-heavy setup that may require testing for stability.

The Pro Video Rig Kit transforms the X300 Ultra into a serious filmmaking tool with a SmallRig-designed cage featuring two Bluetooth-controllable handles, adjustable LED lighting, and active cooling. The phone itself supports native 10-bit Log across all three cameras with optimized 4K Master Color Video for a film-like texture. Audio capabilities include subject-focused sound capture, though external microphone support remains unconfirmed. Pricing and availability details are still pending.
