vivo has rolled out a dedicated photography kit for the newly released X300 Ultra, letting owners extend the phone’s 85mm f/2.7 sensor with interchangeable teleconverter lenses. The kit ships with a mounting case, filter bayonet, protective filters and a redesigned grip that adds a function and flash button. Users can snap on either a 200mm or a 400mm converter without altering the phone’s internal optics.

The 200mm 2.35× G2 teleconverter is notably compact, a reduction attributed to the X300 Ultra’s return to an f/2.7 aperture from the previous f/2.3 design. By contrast, the 400mm unit adds substantial bulk, requiring a two‑piece tripod collar and Arca‑Swiss plate to support its weight. Both converters attach via a dedicated filter slot, keeping the phone’s balance relatively intact with the smaller lens.

Switching lenses is a single tap in the camera app; the UI prompts the user to confirm which converter is mounted and then unlocks progressive zoom steps—200mm offers 400mm, 800mm and 1,600mm, while the 400mm adds 800mm, 1,600mm and 3,200mm equivalents. Though the 400mm setup feels heavyweight, the kit provides a professional‑grade solution for enthusiasts seeking extreme reach on a smartphone.
