vivo has detailed the X Fold6’s display and camera hardware ahead of its China debut. The foldable houses an 8.02‑inch inner panel built with Samsung’s M14 luminous material, rated for a peak 5,000 nits and a 1‑nit ultra‑low mode. TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification backs the screen’s safety claims.

On the imaging side, the X Fold6 jumps to a 200MP primary sensor, Samsung’s 1/1.4‑inch HPB chip with f/1.68 optics and CIPA 4.5‑level stabilization. A Zeiss‑certified periscope telephoto module uses Sony’s LYT‑602 sensor, also stabilized, and can pair with the new Zeiss 200mm Teleconverter G2. Vivo’s V3+ imaging processor drives AI‑enhanced shooting modes.

The X Fold6 runs OriginOS 6 Fold, adding multitasking and AI features, and is rumored to pack a 6,900 mAh battery. A new ‘Blue Hole’ color has already surfaced in leaks, hinting at a premium aesthetic. With MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super Edition under the hood, the device positions itself as a high‑end alternative in the crowded foldable market.

Pricing hasn't been disclosed, but the combination of a 200MP sensor, Zeiss optics and a premium display suggests a flagship price tag. Consumers seeking top‑tier photography on a foldable will find the X Fold6's teleconverter support unique among rivals, potentially shifting buyer expectations toward more versatile camera systems in future foldable releases.
